The thing that stood out to me the most from this family session at Murray Park in Murray, Utah was the absolute abundance of love and joy that came from this family. This was the last set of family photos for Tammy and Greg before their son moves across the country, which made these moments all the more special to capture.
As we moved on from one location and were walking to the next, Tammy couldn't help but stop to show her grandson the branches of a tree. The wonder on his face was unmistakable, and the joy in her eyes as she held and watched him was just as unmistakable. He reached out to touch the pine tree needles and a smile spread across Tammy's face, this was a moment of pure love. Then it was Greg's turn to take a few photos with his grandson. He giggled as his grandpa bounced him up and down. He knew he was safe and loved as Greg pulled him up into the sweetest embrace.
This was seriously the sweetest family, if you know Greg and Tammy and their family you are lucky. From the moment I arrived and we met it was non-stop fun, smiles, and laughter. Everyone was so happy to be with each other and by the time we had finished it had gone by so fast I was ready to just keep taking more beautiful photos! And then out of their kind and thoughtful hearts, they fed me! They didn't have to but they did because generosity is a part of who they are and it gives their whole family a special, radiant glow!
Tammy and Greg, that had to be the best sandwich and homemade apple juice I've ever had! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer and giving me the opportunity to meet you. Your family really is so gorgeous inside and out, you've done an amazing job raising amazing people!
